Here’s a breakdown of the scope of work for brand strategy and brand identity design.
3-4 weeks
-
We talk over the phone to discuss the following...
Specific goals you have for your business and your vision for the future of your business.
How a new brand identity connects with those goals and your vision.
Specification on the number of items to be designed (print & digital).
If my services and my design process work for you ↠ Checking to see if we're a good fit.
After the call, I'll send you a proposal that outlines everything we discussed. If everything looks good, I'll send you a contract and an invoice to begin the project.
-
To kick off the project we'll meet either in person or virtually where I'll ask you questions about your business.
Specifically, about who you're customers are, what distinguishes your business from others, and the business itself.
-
Following the strategy session, I'll put together a document that will be presented to you.
This document will outline your brand foundation along with a creative direction for your brand identity.
The brand foundation will cover what your brand's core values are, your ideal client profile, and your brand's positioning statement.
The creative direction will be a mood board that includes logo inspiration, imagery, type, and color palette.
-
Once you have approved the creative direction for your Brand, I will design a one-of-kind, custom brand identity showcasing the in-progress deliverables.
I'll schedule a day & time for me to present the brand identity and the strategy behind it for you to review.
Here you'll have the opportunity to provide any feedback about what you love and what needs adjustment.
-
Once we've finished all the fine-tuning, I'll package up all of the design deliverables into the file formats you will need along with brand guidelines.
For any larger projects in the queue such as web design & development, I'll have these designs ready to use and apply them to the website.
-
It's time for your brand to shine!
With all of the designs and collateral together, your brand is ready to be shared with your audience.
At this point forward, Jargo Design is available and ready to lend support to answer any technical questions.

Before we get started I'll need any content that you wish to be on the site sent over my way.
This can include images such as headshots, products, or any brand photos to showcase your business.
This can also include any written copy such as testimonials, personal bios, history of your business, or any legal disclaimers you'll need on the site.
-
To kick things off, we'll schedule a day to meet & talk about your site.
Specifically, we discuss your goals for the site, what objectives we should set, and the functions required to achieve those objectives.
-
Following the strategy session, I'll put together a basic layout that maps out how easily your customers can navigate your site and access the content you want them to see.
This is a very basic layout without the brand elements applied.
-
Once you have approved the Site Map layout, I will design and develop a custom, Squarespace website.
I'll schedule a day & time for me to present the website and the strategy behind it for you to review.
Here you will have the opportunity to provide any feedback about what you love and what needs adjustment.
-
Once we've finished all the fine-tuning, I'll hand you the keys and transfer ownership of the site to you.
I'll also send you a small library of videos that goes over Squarespace's CMS (Content Management System).
In each of these videos, I'll show you how to make specific changes to your site such as changing images, creating new pages, and removing old pages.
